My work will be on show, and for sale, at the Autumn Garden Show, Malvern Showground, this coming weekend:
Sept 22/23/24.
Including an improved version of my Music Stand, a new version of my 2 Tier 'Severn' Console Table, this one in Cherry and Walnut, echoing, in the curvi-linear tops, both the bends in the River Severn at Worcester, and the outline of the Malvern Hills.

Wall Cabinet, in Oak, with 'pippy' Oak veneered doors, and Ebony handles.
Oil/wax finish.
This piece sold on first showing at a Worcestershire exhibition.
Very enjoyable, if a little demanding, to design and make, but I've always loved a challenge.

Working as usual during lockdown as I'm a self employed craftsman.
Order book is now fairly full till Christmas and into New Year, although I might be able to fit a small commission or two in.
I'm also working on 3 chairs for, hopefully, 2021 exhibitions, and developing a range of small food related items + top range boxes.
My new workshop hours will be : Tuesday to Friday, generally 8.30am till 5.30pm, and Saturday morning 9.30am till 1.30pm, but these are only guidelines.
Due to covid19 visits to the workshop are not available, but I'm on 07813 887091, 24/7, and email: [email protected]

Very much still in business, I live and work alone, so self isolated; that means nobody allowed to visit workshop, nearly everything can be done online now, apart from delivering, and, of course, me beavering away in splendid isolation. Now is the time to cheer yourself up, especially if you've had to cancel your holiday plans, by commissioning a piece of special furniture.

I plant at least one tree for every piece of furniture sold, this season it is European Walnut, Juglans Regia. Faster growing than some native hardwoods such as Oak, it will also give a valuable cash crop every year throughout its life with its fruit. Next year I'm thinking of either Ash or Elm, if there are any disease resistant varieties available, if not, it will be Sycamore, one of my favourite timbers to work with.
I'm also going all out to reduce my carbon footprint by concentrating on native timbers sourced from relatively local, small timber yards.
My January Sale is now on till the end of the forthcoming month, with typical reductions of 20-25% on selected pieces.
For details phone/ text 07813 887091, email: [email protected], with no obligations.
