A superb matching pair of French Antique Classical Garden Urns.

Wonderfully weathered with a heavily oxidised surface that gives them exceptional character.

The bodies are decorated with raised swags and draped garlands, with sculptural side terminals adding further classical detail.

The original pale painted finish has weathered extensively, exposing areas of rich orange-brown surface rust and aged patination. The contrast between the remaining pale finish and the oxidised metal is particularly attractive.

English Oak Dresser with an open plate rack, probably dating from the late 18th to early 19th century.

Of traditional country-house form, constructed in warm, richly figured oak. The dresser has a panelled three-section back, beneath a beautifully shaped and scalloped frieze, with moulded cornice above.

The lower section is particularly appealing, having two larger drawers over three smaller drawers, all retaining their traditional character and decorative brass handles. The drawers are separated by shaped aprons, with a central turned support and open potboard shelf beneath.

A substantial wrought-iron Strapwork tree surround.

Designed to surround the trunk of a mature tree and provide seating on all sides.

This one has a wonderfully rustic, weathered appearance with its original-style distressed white-painted finish, areas of exposed iron and attractive surface rust.

A handsome late 18th / early 19th-century English antique chest of drawers.

Unusual drawer-front decoration.

The chest features five drawers, comprising two smaller drawers above three graduated full-width drawers, all with richly figured and parquetry-style geometric timber decoration.

The warm, deeply patinated timber has developed a wonderful aged surface, with plenty of honest wear and character throughout.

The drawers are fitted with ornate gilt-brass Rococo-style handles and escutcheons, complementing the decorative timberwork beautifully.

If you have the height we have something special for you.

A magnificent Large French Country Kitchen Display armoire, with a wonderfully decorative Louis XV-inspired form and a beautifully weathered painted finish.

The piece features an impressive shaped and serpentine architectural cornice, centred by an elaborate carved floral and foliate crest. Below, the pair of glazed doors are divided into multiple small panes, allowing the interior shelving to be displayed beautifully.

The cabinet is particularly decorative with carved floral and rocaille-style ornament running down the door surrounds and side pilasters, together with shaped lower panels. The distressed cream stone coloured paint has naturally worn back in places to reveal the warmer timber beneath, giving it an excellent aged French château or brocante character.

Inside, the generous shelving makes it exceptionally practical for displaying china, glassware, books, pottery or collections, while the substantial proportions give it real presence.

A contemporary English armchair, with a high supportive back, gently shaped wings and broad rolled arms.

The chair has a deep, comfortable seat and is finished with a full removable slip cover, including the characteristic gathered pleated skirt around the base.

The slip cover is particularly attractive, made in a muted sage green, warm ivory and faded blush-pink floral tapestry-style fabric, with scrolling botanical motifs and contrasting green piping. The slightly faded appearance gives it a wonderfully lived in feel .
