Is your kitchen ready?

Every Christmas, the whole family ends up in the same room. Someone's checking the oven, someone's pouring drinks, and no matter what else is going on in the house, everyone gathers in the kitchen.

It's the room that holds the whole day together.

If yours isn't quite ready for that, now's the time to think about it. The earlier we're brought in, the more we can help: https://brownpearinteriors.co.uk/bespoke-kitchens/

Kitchens are what we're best known for, but they're not all we do.

Wardrobes, boot rooms, utility rooms, when they're brought into the same project, they carry the same level of detail as the kitchen itself, so the standard runs right through the home rather than stopping at one door.

It's worth thinking about the full space, so get in touch: https://brownpearinteriors.co.uk/bespoke-kitchens/

The art of details.

All of our projects are completely bespoke, built around the kind of intricate detail that takes real time to get right.

Every project we take on is built around decisions most people never notice: the way a drawer is dovetailed, the exact run of a cornice, the choice between one shade of paint and another that's almost the same.

That's the difference between a kitchen designed specifically for a home and one simply fitted into it.

The FINAL reveal.

The standout feature of this project is the secret door! Behind one wall of this kitchen is a door you'd never know was there.

Push it open and it leads straight through to a hidden walk-in pantry, and beyond that, a separate utility room, both tucked completely out of sight.

This project was a traditional in-frame kitchen painted in a soft Willow green, with sweeping quartz worktops and Neff appliances throughout.

Solid oak beams from Oak by Design run right through the property and into the room itself, giving the space real depth and texture. And one of our favourite details is an integrated dog bed, built straight into the cabinetry.

A beautiful project to work on in collaboration with Oak By Design and Walker Graham.

The kitchen gets used more than any other room in the house.

That's true in summer, and it's true now.

But autumn changes what it needs to give you. Evenings come in earlier, and suddenly you're spending more time there in the dark than in daylight. It still has to feel like a home, not just a place to cook dinner and leave.

That comes down to the materials, how the room's laid out and the kind of details that make a kitchen feel lived in, whatever time of year it is.

If yours doesn't quite do that yet, we're always happy to talk to you: https://brownpearinteriors.co.uk/bespoke-kitchens/

The Forest Project.

This is a full kitchen transformation, built around a new rear extension that changes how light moves through the whole space.

It now opens onto a dining area that pulls natural light straight through the floor. At its centre sits a heritage green island, the focal point of the room, framed by light grey cabinetry running around the perimeter. Behind the sink, a moon-shaped splashback sits against the original brickwork, a small but deliberate detail that gives the space real character.

We've also built in a false mantle, framed with a mitred edge, with storage either side for oils and spices, alongside a new boot room, utility and walk-in pantry.

NEW project incoming...

We shared the installation stage of this new build project in Haxby, and it is finally complete. This was a beautiful project to work on, and the client came to us early on, which gave us the time to work through every detail properly.

We can't wait to show it to you.

This colour combination is becoming increasingly popular in 2026...

In this project, we used a reed green slim shaker cabinetry throughout, paired with a blue tiled splashback that adds just enough contrast without overpowering the space.

The quartz worktops tie the two colours together beautifully, giving the whole kitchen a cohesive, considered finish.
