Happy belated Easter Guernsey.
Been a few months since doing a posting. A spell of not having reliable workspace, mixed with health problems, the last few months have not gone according to plan. I am glad to say, both of these have been resolved. My apologies again to those who have had to wait. It is sometimes difficult to explain personal circumstances. When set up, I will be putting up a posting of the new address. Visits will also be welcome, and the pot always hot. I have further interesting postings in the next week or so.
Look forward to hearing from you. Oliver.

It has been several months since I have posted anything. This does not mean I have not been busy, but events have played a part. Firstly, thanks to all of you who I have had the pleasure, of working for, doing a wide range of work. I wish to thank those, who have been very patient, regarding the unfortunate events regarding my studio/workshop. This has caused a delay, but things have moved on, in a good way. A HUGE THANK YOU, to "MAN SHED", that has not only helped me move, but I have work bench space to carry out making. A delay in making, but all going in a very positive way. I have attached some pictures of recent work. Every project has a story. Love it. Have some fantastic projects in the pipe line, a grandfather clock, and repairing it's mechanism ( Yes, I did clock building ). I have shown a few examples, but have been a busy man, with thanks to my clients.

Hello Guernsey. URGENTLY, looking for a second pair of hands, to work with me. Open to arrangements, time and money. It will be mainly lifting, for the first couple of hours, then giving a hand, then helping deliver units to site. Quite varied, interesting, and could lead to further work. If you are interested, or can think of somebody, please put them in touch. A good attitude to life, and polite would be required. Thanks. Oli.

Hello Guernsey, after shut down. I hope you all survived the period.
I have been introduced, to a rather interesting article. Hollow, brass Mystery object. Have any of you, any idea what this is. Sealed both ends, rest shown as per pics.

Happy Christmas Guernsey.
A big thank you to all of you who have followed, liked, recommended, commissioned, and employed our services. The enthusiasm and support has been wonderful. Connor and I have had been asked to do some great jobs and met some lovely people. It has been a wonderful few months, and even better since Covid has been sucked up the dust extractor here.
Here is to wishing all of you a happy Christmas, and looking forward to the new year.

Hello Guernsey....
A huge thanks for such a strong following, likes and inquiries from my last posting.
We were given the wonderful opportunity to resin fill, and re finish a Chestnut slab dinning table. This was shown in my last posting, being worked on. All the cracks were resin filled, dark, so they still looked like cracks, then finished with 6 coats of oil. It has now been returned to it's owner.
From this we have some resin projects on the go, that are very exciting. One involving a very old cart wheel.
We have also had a strong response, for re finishing kitchen worktops, and dinning tables. Thank you.
Again, thanks to all of you, for your strong following, and inquiries.
Oliver and Connor.
Tel: 07743 771211, if you have any questions, wish advice, or want us to look at a piece.

It has been a busy month. With many thanks to those that messaged in, with workshop space, and an interest in my opening for an apprentice / assistant. I am delighted to say, positive results on both fronts.
Conner joined me a week ago, all good. A very positive addition. We have been working on re finishing, and resin filling a solid slab of Chestnut dinning table. I will post the end results up tomorrow. Looks amazing. Took 4 strong people, to carry the slab to the workshop.
Connor trained in metal working. A very interesting string to the bow.
I will update on the workshop, in the next couple of days, and will be inviting an opening evening. More to come.
Cheers. Oli.
