Sirigos, Samari Stool

Samari Stool offers a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Greek object. Inspired by the functional geometry of a folk wooden stool, the design evolves into a refined silhouette that balances heritage with modern craftsmanship.
The piece emphasizes a dialogue between memory and structural clarity, utilizing solid wood in combination with natural cotton cord. By analyzing the specific curves of a traditional pack saddle, the stool achieves a balance between its original inspiration and material honesty. The result is an object of simple utility, reimagined for contemporary living.
