The integrated accessory pockets push the underside of the table down while the edges are kept to a consistent thin profile. The “Hi! & Seek” Learning Corner of Tai Kwun Contemporary is located in the transparent gap layer between two opaque gallery volumes. The new design focuses on a flexible horizontal plane to keep the open and airy feeling of this floor, while utilizing adjacent existing vertical surfaces such as the concrete core wall and glass facade for display.
