🌿 Bannon Woodworks is heading to Coosan Farmers’ Market! 🌿
This Saturday will be our first time at Coosan Farmers’ Market, at the Lough Ree Inn, Coosan Point, Athlone.
Come down and have a look at a selection of handcrafted serving boards, chopping boards and other pieces made from locally sourced Irish hardwoods. Every piece is individually made, with the natural grain and character of the timber making each one unique.
There’ll be plenty of other local producers and makers there too, so it’s well worth a visit and a great way to support local.

Handmade wooden products
🌳 From tree to chopping board 🪚
Down at Connaught Street Market today, there’ll be a live woodworking showcase showing the journey from a freshly cut piece of timber right through to a finished chopping board.
It’s a chance to see what actually goes into making something by hand — the tools, techniques and work behind the finished product.
And it’s not just woodworking! Come down and meet the other talented makers and traders, see how their products are created, ask questions and get a look behind the scenes of local craft.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Bannon Woodworks over the past year. Every chopping board, serving board, wine holder and handcrafted piece is made from locally sourced Irish hardwood, with sustainability and quality at the heart of every project.
It's an honour to be included alongside so many talented local makers and small businesses.
To be honest I wouldn't get the use to justify one.

🪵✨ Custom handcrafted stacking ring games recently completed as a once-off commission for a client’s upcoming event. Fun, durable and designed for both kids and adults alike.
Finished in a mix of bright colours and natural wood tones, with each set fully tried and tested by my own kids before leaving the workshop 👌🎯
