Not sure what you can donate to clothing banks or charity shops? You’re not alone, many people are confused!
Here’s the simple rule:
✅ Clean, dry, reusable clothes, paired shoes and household textiles
❌ No torn, soiled, damaged items
❌ No pillows or duvets
Remember: leaving bags beside donation banks = illegal dumping and costs charities money to dispose of.
Check the new national Textiles Reuse & Recycling Map to find the right spot: mywaste.ie
Give your textiles a second life and help keep Carlow clean. 💚♻️
