This week, I swapped fireplaces for football coaching at the Foyle Cup! ⚽💙

We were incredibly proud to sponsor two of our Glen Rovers U10 teams as they took part in one of the biggest youth football tournaments around.

It was a week of highs and lows, but both teams did themselves, their families and the club proud, finishing in the top 60 of the group stages from 120 teams, before ending the tournament in 32nd and 54th place.

These are memories the boys will carry with them for life, and we're honoured that Spratt Fireplaces could play a small part in their journey.

I'll admit, I've never been the biggest football fan, but after spending a week on the sidelines coaching, celebrating, and stressing through every match, I might have to rethink that! 😅

A huge thank you to all the parents, volunteers and everyone involved in making the week such a fantastic experience for the boys.

A little non-fireplace-related post for a Sunday! 😊
I thought I'd share one of this weekend's projects (and a few on top)– a pair of handmade bedside lockers.
These were made entirely from waste oak offcuts saved from the production of our oak mantles, giving quality timber a second life instead of letting it go to waste.

A lot of people assume we're just another fireplace shop, but we actually started by manufacturing our own wooden fireplaces, marble hearths and fireplace inserts. While we don't produce as many wooden fireplaces these days, we still manufacture a huge amount of our own products in-house.
The craftsmanship behind projects like these is the same attention to detail we bring to our bespoke media walls, fireplace installations and custom stonework every day.
