The Final Banishment 🕯️

These Round Tables didn’t survive the vote, and now they’re on clearance. Once they’re gone, they’re gone, no re-vote, no restock.

Pop into our Navan showroom to see them before someone else does.

The biggest challenge with dining chairs is usually comfort. Most aren't built for sitting in for longer than it takes to eat. The Maxfurn Hardin is the exception with a wide range of fabric and leather finishes to match whatever's already in the room, and comfortable enough that you'll still be in it long after the plates are cleared. Dinner, a laptop, even the kids' homework. This chair holds up.

Buy once. Last for years to come.

A sofa gets used more than almost anything else in the house. Every evening, every guest, every Sunday spent doing nothing in particular. That's exactly what we build for at the 1933 Furniture Company. Solid frames, proper cushion fill, fabrics chosen to hold up to real life, not just look good on day one.

The best kind of furniture isn't the kind you replace. It's the kind you forget to think about, because it's still doing its job years later.

That's the whole point of building our own range. Not just how it looks leaving the shop, but how it holds up long after.

The hands behind every sofa.

Before a single stitch goes in, there's a sketch. Hand-drawn, reworked, refined. The shape of an arm, the curve of a back, worked out on paper long before it's worked out in fabric.

It's easy to think of a sofa as something built. Really, it starts as something drawn, by someone who's spent years learning exactly how a line on a page becomes something you sit in for years to come.

The trap we would fall for.

We'd like to say we're immune to a beautiful print. We are not. The Sundance has that effect. One look at the pattern, one sit on the cushion, and you're already rearranging the room around it in your head.

Consider yourself warned. Or don't. Some traps are worth falling for.

Some tables are built. This one is composed.

The Tyron Keramik pairs a sculptural metal base with a ceramic top. Two contrasting finishes brought together to turn a dining table into a centrepiece, not just a fixture. And it's as practical as it looks good: the ceramic surface is scratch and stain-resistant, made to handle real life around it.

Made in Italy. Designed to be the reason people linger at the table.

Nine decades of craftsmanship.

It starts with a sketch. Then the frame, the fill, the fabric. Each stage done by hand, right here in Navan, by people who've been doing this for years, not just months. Nothing skipped, nothing rushed.

Nine decades in, we've learned that the sofas worth having are the ones that take the time to get right. This is what that actually looks like, start to finish.

Colour changes how a room feels faster than almost anything else.

Yet it's so often the last thing anyone really thinks about. A colour gets picked to match what's already there, the walls, the flooring, whatever came before, rather than chosen with any real intention.

This colour inspo is pulled straight from our Oriana B section in-store. A handful of tones, moving from soft and warm through to something deeper and bolder, each one shifting the whole feel of a room.
