🌿 TBM Continues Nursery Inspection Drive.

TBM staff continued the inspection of nurseries across Tripura to verify the availability and current status of quality bamboo seedlings for the upcoming plantation season.
The team visited nurseries and Forest Department facilities at Karbook, Ompi, Amarpur, Salema Central Nursery, Durgachowmuhani Range, Amlighat Central Nursery (Sabroom), Satchand, Hrishyamukh, Manu Bangkul, Bagafa, Kanchancherra Hi-Tech Nursery and North Laljuri Nursery under Kanchanpur Range.
The inspections are focused on assessing seedling stock, quality and readiness to support planned bamboo plantation activities across the State.

🌱 TBM Continues Nursery Inspection & Plantation Verification.

The Tripura Bamboo Mission (TBM) team continued its field inspection visits across various districts to verify the availability and status of bamboo seedlings for the upcoming plantation season.

The team visited Padmabil, Tulashikhar, Teliamura and Mungiakami Nurseries under Khowai District; Hirachera, Kailashahar Forest, Andharcherra Beat and Machmara Central Nurseries in Unakoti District; Subal Singh Forest Nursery under Hezamara R.D. Block and Muhuripur Central, Baillyabari Central Nursery–Abhoya, Rangamura Central Nursery and Rajnagar Range Office in South Tripura.

The team also visited beneficiary plots under the DAJGUA bamboo plantation programme in Hezamara R.D. Block to review plantation activities and ground-level progress.

These field-level inspections are aimed at ensuring proper verification of seedlings, assessment of nursery readiness and effective planning for the upcoming bamboo plantation season. 🌿

🌱🎋 Bamboo Nursery Verification for Upcoming Plantation Season

Tripura Bamboo Mission (TBM) has initiated verification of the actual status and availability of bamboo seedlings in nurseries across the State for the upcoming plantation season.

As part of the exercise, TBM teams visited DFO Offices and selected nurseries across Gomati, Unakoti, North Tripura, Dhalai and Sepahijala districts, covering major nursery facilities under different Forest Ranges.

The verification focuses on assessing seedling availability, nursery preparedness and planting material requirements to ensure timely planning and implementation of the upcoming bamboo plantation programme.

Through field-level verification and coordination with the Forest Department, TBM continues its efforts towards strengthening bamboo cultivation and promoting a greener and sustainable Tripura. 🌿🎋

🌿 DAJGUA Plantation Scheme – Field Update

Field-level activities under the DAJGUA Plantation Scheme are progressing across different locations of Tripura, with continuous monitoring, beneficiary support and verification of plantation activities.

🔹 Chawmanu Block: Plot cleaning is ongoing at East Chawmanu VC, while plantation activities are progressing at Debachhera VC.

🔹 BC Nagar RD Block, South Tripura: Beneficiary plots at East Pipariakhola, Murasingpara, Mog Para and Kashari RF were visited for field-level monitoring.

🔹 Durgachowmani Block: Rechecking of beneficiary plots was carried out at Srirampur, West Lamboochara, Danchandra and Dabichara VCs to assess plantation progress and field conditions.

🔹 Tulashikhar Block: Plantation activities are ongoing at Purba Rajnagar VC.

🔹 Poangbari RD Block, South Tripura: Beneficiary plots at Takka Tulsi were visited as part of ongoing field monitoring.

These field visits are part of the continued efforts of Tripura Bamboo Mission (TBM) to ensure proper plantation practices, beneficiary engagement, field verification and effective implementation of the DAJGUA Plantation Scheme.

🌱 DAJGUA Plantation Scheme – Field Activities Across Tripura
TBM staff continued field-level activities under the Plantation Scheme, visiting beneficiary plots at Takka Tulsi under Poangbari RD Block, South Tripura.
Interactive sessions were conducted with beneficiaries across five VCs—Sankhola, Ramsankar, Purba Simna, Kambukchara and Twisamungkarai—to review plantation activities, address field-level concerns and encourage active participation.
The team also visited plantation plots across different VCs under Durgachowmani Block.
Plantation activities are progressing at Twichingram and Purba Champacherra VCs under Tulashikhar Block, while plantation is also ongoing at Purba Rajnagar VC under Tulashikhar Block.
These field visits reflect TBM’s continued efforts to support beneficiaries and ensure effective implementation of bamboo plantation activities at the grassroots level. 🌿🎋

📍 Hezamara R.D. Block – Visited beneficiary plots at Kambukcherra and reviewed plantation progress. Held an interaction meeting with beneficiaries of Ramsankar Para VC.
📍 Damcherra, North Tripura – Conducted the plantation site visit along with interaction meeting with beneficiaries.
📍 Fatikcherra, Unakoti Tripura – Conducted a plantation site visit to review field-level implementation.
📍 Kuwaifung VC, Jolaibari R.D. Block, South Tripura – Visited beneficiary plantation plots and assessed ongoing activities.
📍 Mungiakami Block – Visited plantation sites at North Gokulnagar VC and South Gokulnagar VC, where plantation activities are progressing.
