Interior Design is not just about choosing colours, furniture & finishes. There’s a side of the profession that rarely gets acknowledged. Once construction begins, the designer often becomes the unofficial project manager — coordinating contractors, vendors, dealers, fabricators and clients, following up on materials, resolving site issues, checking ex*****on, managing changes and constantly making sure the design is actually built the way it was intended. And very often, this construction coordination quietly gets absorbed into the design fee — without being recognised as a separate service. A designer’s time doesn’t end once the drawings are handed over. Site visits. Endless calls. Vendor follow-ups. Material coordination. Measurements. Corrections. Problem-solving. Last-minute decisions. And countless hours spent keeping a project moving. All of this is work.All of this requires expertise. And all of this has value. Designing a space is one part of the job. Bringing that design to life is an entirely different responsibility. It’s time we recognise that professional design fees are not a substitute for free construction management. Respect the design. Before & After : Bedroom Transformation | ✨ What was once a compact and dated bedroom has been thoughtfully transformed into a warm, contemporary retreat. By replacing the existing cot, upgrading the flooring, introducing a soft neutral colour palette, and incorporating custom storage, the space now feels brighter, larger, and far more functional. The addition of window grills to Upvc sliding windows with elegant grey printed blinds enhances natural light while maintaining privacy, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Every element was carefully chosen to bring together comfort, practicality, and timeless design. Renovation is also retaining the original structure, retaining the Arch with an intent to create something bigger & better . The Arch door was the statement to this space, along side with the extension of washroom. This renovation was all about transforming a compact and ordinary space into one that feels timeless and luxurious. The existing washroom lacked character and functionality, so we reimagined it with an elegant arched entrance, a handcrafted statement mirror, a sleek vessel basin, warm wood finishes, brass accents, and soft ambient lighting.
