Every toddler parent can relate to this. Your child walks past ₹5,000 worth of toys to play with something that was never meant to be a toy.

Turns out, it’s not about the toy. It’s about what they can reach, what they can see, and what feels like theirs.

Toddlers don’t go looking for things. They go toward what they can already see.

It’s just how they’re wired at this age, if something isn’t in front of them and within reach, it doesn’t exist. Which is why a bookshelf that’s too high, or books scattered across three different storages, doesn’t really work.

When all their books are in one place, at their height, easy to browse, easy to pull out - reading becomes something they choose. Not because you reminded them. Because the book was just there, and it looked interesting, and they could reach it themselves.

That’s what the Rocket Bookshelf is built for. 125 books, one unit, right where they are. Everything in reach. Nothing to ask for.

The shelf doesn’t teach them to read. It just gets out of the way. 🚀

Most toy storage solves a parent’s problem. A place to put things. A way to keep the floor clear.

MODO was designed around a different question - “what does a toddler need to actually use their storage themselves?”

Most bins are too deep, so they dump everything out to find one toy. Most shelves are too high, so they come to find you. MODO has shallow trays at toddler height so they can see every toy at a glance, a pull-stop tray so nothing tips over, and sorted bins so there’s a logic they can actually follow.

The result isn’t just a tidier room. It’s a child who finds their own toys, starts on their own, and puts things back because the system makes sense to them.

Honestly, this is what we hoped the FlexDesk would do when we designed it. Not entertain them for ten minutes but hold their attention long enough for the house to actually feel calm.

The FlexDesk is one of those rare things that your toddler can grow into instead of grow out of.

At 2, it is her favourite play corner. By 3, it is where she independently plays for hours. At 5, it is where she sits down to do her learning activities. Same desk. Same corner. Every stage of her childhood held on it.

That is why we built it the way we did!

Rolo was built for how toddlers actually use their things.

Books, stationery, board games, small toys, her water bottle! Everything she reaches for in a day, all in one place, all at her height. She picks what she wants, uses it, puts it back.

And because it rolls, it doesn’t stay in one corner. She takes it to the living room to draw, beside the bed to read, back to her room at night.

This is what a good play space does, it gets out of the way and lets them be.

No prompting, no setting things up, no ‘what do you want to do now.’ Just kids, a pile of blocks, and forty minutes that took care of themselves.

The best part of designing MODO was always this, when everything has a place and everything is within reach, children don’t wait to be told what to play. They just start.
