Before a single flower was chosen, we went looking for the feeling. We found it in painting in the deep greens and dusty golds of Italian still lifes, in market scenes where produce spills over baskets and light catches everything just right. That became our blueprint. Art, translated into a room.

Fifty years ago, a young couple got married at The Oberoi, Delhi. Last weekend, their family brought them back and we made sure the room was magical to return to.

From their mood board to the room they walked into. Every reference, every colour, every feeling considered, designed, and placed with intention.
Good design starts with listening. They showed us golden light and overflowing blooms. We took notes and then we got to work.

For people who love flowers, only abundance will do. We built them blooms in every colour summer knows.
A lifetime of loving flowers deserved a room full of them. Every colour, every stem, nothing held back.

A Florentine market at golden hour. The weight of fresh figs in your hand. Bread still warm from the oven. The smell of basil and something sweet in the air.
This was the world we built for an evening that deserved nothing less.
Italian Summer Night was a golden anniversary celebration for two people who have spent fifty years loving each other — and loving Italy.
Set inside The Oberoi, Delhi, in the exact room where they were married, every detail was designed to feel like a slow evening in Florence.
Because some love stories don’t just deserve a party. They deserve a place

Shudh Desi Romance was imagined as a mehendi filled with nostalgia, romance, and a touch of drama just how desi weddings should be. The corners unfolded through spaces that felt richly layered, warm, and full of character. From playful seating and patterned surfaces to vibrant florals, draped backdrops, and charming little details, each space carried its own mood while still feeling part of the larger world. Thoughtfully styled yet full of ease, these corners brought bold character, and a sense of lived-in romance to the mehendi.

With Shudh Desi Romance, the brief was as special as the celebration itself, the bride’s mother wanted the mehendi to hold playful, event-themed elements drawn from the bride’s childhood. What followed was a world layered with colour, nostalgia, whimsy, and charm, where familiar memories were reimagined with craft, detail, and a subtle filmy spirit. Designing it meant creating something joyful and deeply personal: a mehendi that felt full of heart, character, and playful drama.
