This couch is my go to thing - be it day/night where over weekends I love to lie down n chill with my mini me or when working from home it becomes my workstation and when a party it is acts as formal sitting.

This backdrop to my stolen dining is sliding folding door to my study room which I opened up by breaking another wall in the house. I always fail to understand if we have so many walls to define function/spaces. Feels like such a waste of material/labour when builders don’t listen and keep making these unnecessary walls even when the occupant is getting rid of it.

Come dine with me on this beautiful table which I refurbished after stealing it from my mom 🤪

So on the left I have the living space and on the right is my beautiful 35yr plus old family dining table which I stole from my mother 😜
The black sideboard is dividing my two spaces visually with help of these beautiful sleek spots.

Story of my coffee table

It all started from these long sofas, I live long couches where one can lie down, sit with legs up and fit in as many people possible with our Punjabi family get togethers 😬
So as I had limited space around the couches to accommodate these lengths, chose to get go of the side tables and have these two long tables to cater to each person sitting on sofa and one can use pull as per the need plus once joined it makes a perfect space for floor dining area/ Diwali cards/ 2000pcs jigsaw puzzles and many more craziness random activities 😬

Here is the living space
Like I mentioned before, I like openness as much possible. Now it just depends where all, so in this case it was a difficult decision opening up my living space as I had to let go of my bedroom space to make that happen but then I love to spend most of my work or free time in my living space so I chose to compromise according to time spent. And I am very happy with that decision after using it the most in the last 2 years. So the wooden panel in front is the partition which I pushed back to open up the living room. 😊
