Bulkhead Installation
Terminal 2 · International Departures
Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati, India
The Terminal 2 International Building at Guwahati Airport was inaugurated on 20th December by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.
Designed above the retail spine of the international terminal, this large-scale bulkhead installation is realised as a continuous birchply composition with integrated metal framework and solid acrylic. The intervention brings material warmth, spatial rhythm, and visual continuity to a high-movement public interior.

The bulkhead installation begins to register at full scale read against the structure of the terminal and the people who move through it.
Designed to sit lightly within a large public interior, its form is calibrated to proportion, circulation, and long-term presence rather than spectacle.
