Long before design became visual,
motifs were shaped by hand and meaning.

Forms were drawn from nature and belief,
then translated onto surfaces through carving and paint.

The floral, the Nandi, the paisley each built layer by layer, carrying its own symbolism within the piece.

It’s a process that brings together material, method, and memory resulting in details that stay. 🙌🏻

Some pieces aren’t just made they carry where they come from.

In the textures, materials, and quieter details,
you’ll often find traces of history still left behind.

Not everything reveals itself immediately.

Some pieces ask you to pause,
look again, and notice what time has left within them.

Some mirrors change the way a corner feels.

This aesthetic wooden mirror takes inspiration from interiors in Jaisalmer, where mirrors were often used to reflect light deeper into the home.

Its concave form catches light differently through the day, adding depth in a quieter, more subtle way.

Especially in the smaller transitional corners of a home, pieces like these slowly begin to anchor the space around them.

Some spaces are shaped by memory.

This one draws from the idea of a fireplace. A place that wasn’t just about warmth, but about people gathering, conversations unfolding, time slowing down.

A setting not native to Bombay, yet a feeling that translates.

Built through layers and pieces that bring a similar sense of comfort, without relying on the season itself.

Pieces like these carry more than just form -
they hold stories within them.

In the way they’re made,
in the details they carry,
there’s always something of where they come from.

And when they find their place in spaces that already have a history,
something just aligns -
the past and present meeting, quietly.🌿

Textures that go beyond the surface -
shaped through carving, painting, and inlay.

Each one reflecting a distinct way of making
within Indian handicrafts.

What you see, then, is not just texture -
but the result of time, material, and method
coming together.🙌🏻🌿

Some pieces don’t belong to a single time.

This one comes from Thailand, an older piece, but with a form that feels unexpectedly modern. It sits somewhere in between, not tied to one way of styling.

Placed in a study or a quieter corner, it begins to draw attention in its own way. Not immediately, but enough to make you pause and look again.

Pieces like these bring more than just form. They add character, curiosity, and a sense of discovery to the space.

It begins with iron chains, a raw, everyday material.
Stacked one over the other, they slowly start to take shape through weight and repetition. What starts loose and undefined gradually turns into something structured.

Each link adds a small shift in its form, texture, and presence until the object feels complete.

An everyday material, seen differently through craft.🙌🏻🌿

Nayab Corners by Vrinda.

Some pieces come together over time.

This Uraib artwork begins with old textile patches. Different fragments, brought together and stitched into one surface.

Then worked on it again, with hand embroidery layered over it. Each detail is added slowly, building the piece as it goes.

It takes close to 100 hours to complete, all done by hand in Jaipur.

The time stays with it. You can see it in the way the piece holds together.🌿

A corner takes shape slowly - this is one of them.

This chair from Jodhpur is hand-carved and hand-painted with time and care.
It works as an accent piece, adding just the right hint of pop of colour to a neutral space.🌿

Beneath it, a hand-woven carpet in a soft striped pattern. Its pattern and colour sit easily with wood and neutral bases, adding both texture and contrast.

Together, they don’t compete. They sit in balance, letting the space come together around them.

A composition built over time, meant to be lived with.🙌🏻
