Other businesses include shopping complexes at Begusarai and Saharsa. The group holds a stake in The Mahabir Jute Mills Ltd, Sahjanwa (Uttar Pradesh) which is a six generation old family run enterprise and was started in 1930
and is running in profits till date. Recognizing the tremendous importance and thrust given by the Government to infrastructure development in the field of power generation and electrification of Railway, the group has recently set up manufacturing facilities of transmission tower, telecom tower, substation structures, Railway OHE structures and other fabricated and galvanized structures.
