Introducing the Fusta Chair by Babushka, a timeless expression of warmth, craftsmanship, and quiet luxury in contemporary interior design.
Created in collaboration with .designcollective for their interior project at Muthoot Homes, this bespoke teak wood accent chair was designed to complement the master bedroom’s serene aesthetic.
Finished in a rich walnut tone, the natural grain of solid teak lends depth and character, while the light beige upholstered seating softens the form with a subtle elegance.
The result is a piece that feels muted yet refined, warm, inviting, and effortlessly sophisticated within modern home interiors.
The Fusta Chair balances sculptural simplicity with everyday comfort, making it equally suited as feature seating or a quiet corner companion. Thoughtfully handcrafted and timeless in appeal, it brings understated luxury into contemporary living spaces.

Babushka X Ekaa
We collaborated with .designcollective for their interior project at Muthoot Homes in Thiruvananthapuram, custom crafting bespoke furniture pieces for the luxury apartment interior.
This post features our Yara Cot, thoughtfully crafted in rich teak wood.
The design showcases an extended headboard detailed with carved wooden rods, finished in a classic deep teak tone. Gold accents along the extended edges highlight its graceful curves, adding a refined touch to the overall modern bedroom design.
Paired with the cot are our Marui Side Tables, finished in a solid beige PU matte.
Designed as a sturdy box form with softened rounded edges, each table features two spacious drawer compartments for storage. A sleek golden linear handle adds a subtle accent, enhancing the piece’s clean and contemporary bedroom furniture aesthetic.
The Yara Cot and Marui Side Tables adorn two of the bedrooms in this apartment interior project. Set against distinct headrest walls in each space, the pieces take on varied visual expressions, demonstrating their versatility while maintaining a cohesive interior design language throughout the home.
