Casa di Langa begins with what was already there.

An unfinished structure, the rural language of Alta Langa, and a palette drawn from the territory became the basis for a complete transformation by GaS Studio with Parisotto+Formenton Architetti.

Brick, local stone, natural plaster and oak define the interiors, while the architecture opens repeatedly towards vineyards, wooded hills and cultivated land.

For the bathrooms, Studio Parisotto+Formenton Architetti selected the Immersion bathtub by Neri&Hu, whose deep, compact form fits naturally within the project’s quiet, restrained interiors.

Rather than reproducing the image of a traditional country estate, the project works through proportion, material and reuse to establish a contemporary relationship with its surroundings.

Light does not simply reflect on Massicci. It enters the material.

Designed by Marco Zito, Massicci is shaped through cast glass, a process that gives each piece its own density, texture and internal variations.

Seen up close, the surface reveals what the object carries from its making: irregularities, depth and traces that change with the light. In the transparent and ochre versions, those differences become even more visible, shifting the perception of thickness, colour and weight.

A project defined as much by process as by form.
Massicci has been shortlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2026.

In the historic centre of Mantova, a seventeenth-century residence is reworked around the demands of contemporary life.

Architect Davide Cerini approached the restoration by preserving the building’s existing character while introducing new architectural elements with a deliberately clear language.

The bathrooms make that relationship especially visible. Pigmented cement surfaces meet thick historic walls and surviving frescoes, while Agape elements are integrated as precise, contemporary interventions.

In one room, the Ottocento bathtub by Benedini Associati sits beneath a new source of natural light, alongside Flat XL, Memory tapware, N**o mirror and Surf accessories. Elsewhere, a teak Flat XL composition with Cube washbasin is set against the richness of the original decoration, completed by Fez tapware, N**o mirror and Sen accessories.

Past and present remain distinct, each giving the other greater definition.

A body of work leaves behind more than objects and projects.

"Bruno Morassutti – Tema e Variazioni", directed by Davide Maffei, has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2026.

Through archival material, testimonies and filmed works, the documentary retraces more than sixty years of Morassutti’s practice, bringing together projects, encounters and ideas that defined a career closely connected to the evolution of Italian modernism.

The film does not simply reconstruct a biography. It uses different voices and sources to reopen a body of work and return it to the present.

Supported by Agape and Agapecasa, the project reflects a shared interest in preserving design history not as something fixed, but as material that can still be read, questioned and understood anew.

Agape and Dexterton meet in Manila.

During Manila Interior Design Summit 2026, Dexterton offered a first glimpse of the Agape space now taking shape inside the showroom.

More than a point of display, Dexterton marks a new place where the Agape language is being introduced through a local partner, within a design culture that continues to grow across the region.

The showroom is still in progress, with its official opening planned for 2027. For now, this presentation marks a new chapter for Agape in Manila and a closer connection with the city’s architecture and interiors community.

Different disciplines, the same attention to how things are conceived and made.

On 9 October, Agape joined the XXII edition of Autostyle Design Competition in San Benedetto Po, Mantova, as a partner of an event that has brought automotive design, industry and education together since 2004.

Powered by Berman, Autostyle brings leading international car designers into direct contact with a new generation of talent, moving between current models, future visions and the processes behind them.

For Agape, taking part also means returning to a territory we share. Mantova has always been more than our geographical origin: it is part of a culture of making in which industry, design and experimentation have developed side by side.

This year, that connection extended beyond the automobile, with selected Agapecasa pieces joining the exhibition and placing two fields of design within the same setting.

A project can be revisited through the images that once documented it.

"Angelo Mangiarotti / Giorgio Casali. Framing the Project" has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2026.

Edited by Anna Mainoli and Francesca Acerboni and published by Corraini Edizioni, the book returns to Angelo Mangiarotti’s work through the photographic archive of Giorgio Casali, tracing the close professional and personal connection between the two.

Drawing from the extensive Casali archive held at IUAV Venice, the volume brings together a sequence of black-and-white images, many previously unpublished, spanning architecture, product design and experimental prototypes.

A second section brings Mangiarotti’s legacy into the present through the voices of contemporary architects and designers, several of whom are also connected to the Agapecasa project that continues to produce his original designs today.

Presented by Agape and Agapecasa, "Framing the Project" reflects a shared commitment to revisiting Mangiarotti’s work not as a closed archive, but as material that continues to generate new readings.

Its selection for the ADI Design Index 2026 places this editorial research within the wider map of contemporary Italian design traced by ADI.

The ADI Design Index 2026 brings together 340 projects across 14 categories, offering a broad reading of contemporary Italian design and the ways it is evolving across products, materials, technologies, services and research.

Selected projects are evaluated not only for their formal qualities, but also for the relationship they establish with context, production processes, materials, innovation and use.

Among this year’s selections is Massicci, designed by Marco Zito for Agape.

Its inclusion places a project rooted in material experimentation within a wider reflection on how design is made today: through process, matter and the traces that production leaves on the finished object.

Massicci is on view as part of the ADI Design Index 2026 exhibition at ADI Design Museum in Milan.

Design research begins with everyday life.

For Konstantin Grcic, designer of the Mach 2 collection for Agape, observing the objects around us and how people use them is already a form of research.

In this excerpt from his talk at Festivaletteratura in Mantova, he describes an approach rooted in attention to the familiar: the things we use every day, and our interactions with them.

A reflection from a festival Agape has long supported, as part of its enduring connection to Mantova and its cultural life.

Two cars. Two very different ideas of design.

On the final day of Agape Open Days, Giampaolo Benedini and Michele Lupi took the Bugatti EB110 and Lotus Elise S1 as a starting point to look at performance, proportion, engineering and the choices that give an object its character.

Different in ambition, construction and philosophy, both cars reveal how design is shaped by constraints, purpose and a precise idea of use.

A fitting way to close a week at Bosco: by looking beyond the bathroom and into another field where form, technology and experience are inseparable.
