Behind every image, a hundred small decisions.

The right shade of colour. A few centimetres to the left. A different angle. Adjusting the light. Trying again.

A glimpse behind the scenes of the photographs created for “Property of Sergio Asti. A Design Heritage”, where objects, compositions and details slowly found their place.

Glass and steel. Weight and transparency.

Dining tables and coffee tables - different scales, different gestures, each exploring the dialogue between structure and lightness in its own way.

Endless variations of light.

Designed by Tobia Scarpa for Flos in 1973, Capricorno is a lamp in constant motion - even when standing still.

Its adjustable reflector shifts the beam from direct to indirect light, changing the atmosphere with a simple gesture.

A rhythmic play of angles, reflections, and perspectives.

A lesson in proportion and space.

Designed by Elio Monesi for his own home in 1961, this unique suspended sideboard transforms storage into architecture.

The floating structure sharpens its geometry, while the contrast between warm wood and vivid orange lacquer gives the piece an unmistakable sculptural presence.

From postcard to reality.

One by one, the objects step out of their graphic frame and into the space.
A playful crossover between the visual identity of “Property of Sergio Asti. A Design Heritage” and the real pieces currently on view at Fragile.

Beyond the series created for the exhibition’s visual identity - a selection of Sergio Asti pieces currently on view at Fragile, further fragments of a design universe, each one revealing a different aspect of his wide and ever-evolving design language.

Before the doors opened.

Hands and creativity at work, objects finding their place, the space taking shape - one detail at a time.

Hidden behind the curtains, waiting to be noticed.

These rare globe lamps by Tommaso Buzzi for Venini (ca. 1933) are among the hidden gems currently inhabiting Fragile’s spaces alongside "Property of Sergio Asti. A Design Heritage".

Conceived in multiple variations - up to 22 different models, only partly realised due to their technical complexity - the lamps embody Buzzi’s unmistakable language: delicate floral details, cornucopia-shaped arms, transparent glass with gold leaf.

Quietly suspended beyond the curtains, these pieces reveal themselves only to the attentive eye - a parallel constellation surrounding Sergio Asti’s world without ever distracting from it.

Where postmodern architecture meets light.
The Zerma lamp by Anonima Design for Flaet (ca. 1980) embodies the group’s architectural and experimental approach - bold, sculptural, and full of presence.

Currently on view in the gallery, in dialogue with the objects featured in “Property of Sergio Asti. A Design Heritage”.
