From postcard to reality.

One by one, the objects step out of their graphic frame and into the space.
A playful crossover between the visual identity of “Property of Sergio Asti. A Design Heritage” and the real pieces currently on view at Fragile.

Before the doors opened.

Hands and creativity at work, objects finding their place, the space taking shape - one detail at a time.

Hidden behind the curtains, waiting to be noticed.

These rare globe lamps by Tommaso Buzzi for Venini (ca. 1933) are among the hidden gems currently inhabiting Fragile’s spaces alongside "Property of Sergio Asti. A Design Heritage".

Conceived in multiple variations - up to 22 different models, only partly realised due to their technical complexity - the lamps embody Buzzi’s unmistakable language: delicate floral details, cornucopia-shaped arms, transparent glass with gold leaf.

Quietly suspended beyond the curtains, these pieces reveal themselves only to the attentive eye - a parallel constellation surrounding Sergio Asti’s world without ever distracting from it.

Where postmodern architecture meets light.
The Zerma lamp by Anonima Design for Flaet (ca. 1980) embodies the group’s architectural and experimental approach - bold, sculptural, and full of presence.

Currently on view in the gallery, in dialogue with the objects featured in “Property of Sergio Asti. A Design Heritage”.

Carlo Nason (1935–2026) shaped glass into light, and light into emotion.
His legacy will continue to shine.

Color becomes structure, guiding the eye through Sergio Asti’s world.

Totems in masonite panels host a selection of works designed, among others, for Kartell, Candle, Martinelli, Artemide, Arteluce, Vistosi, Salviati and Knoll - a constellation of collaborations across decades.

On the windows, suspended elements reveal subtle clues: the table bearing the inscription “Property of Sergio Asti” and plates from the Dada series.

Sheer curtains trace the space, concealing what lies beyond - fragments of Fragile’s collection, just out of sight.
