Thank you for joining us at the Salone Satellite 2019 As you know, the Milan Design Week is the place to discover new trends, upcoming colors, materials and of course new talents. After six exciting days the Milan Design Week has come to an end.
ANDY is our newest Design and he's got character
Proud and sincere, ANDY presents his curved backrest. In a cheeky way, he puts the traditional Viennese cane to the test.
The woven cane becomes the focus of the design. Determined in place of the frame the mesh defines the shape of the chair. The wood elements are brought to a formal minimum so that the three dimensionally stretched cane can develop its ergonomic potential.
The combination of flat-covered seat and the round shaped back presents itself as a mutual reference of
tradition and modern presence.

Our SOMA Chair in Leather
Over time we developed tiny little details on the Kvadrat textile cover always aiming for further perfection, but now it is time to take SOMA to the next level: The SOMA Chair in leather.
The SOMA Chair interprets the draft of a lounge chair in an easy way. Honesty in shape and material, strong in its appearance but reduced on the substance.
The chair consists of several elements. The seating is appealing and filigree but defined as a closed unit. Limited through the stainless steel frame and shaped with vertical elements of a cantilever chair, the SOMA Chair´s leather seating generates a smooth and body adapting seat.
The tubular frame borders the chair and focusses the view on the single layer of natural tanned leather. Tied on to the frame by hand, this leather seating is made to last .
The apeareance of the tubular frame and planar and smooth leather is continued in the lower part of the chair. The casted aluminum stand captures the planar outlook of the seating in its flat tails. A cylinder made of the same material provides the junction to the frame.
