Gino Gorreri was born near Parma, to an old woodworking family. Upon leaving secondary school, he studied to become a craftsman. While still a child, he started working as an errand boy at a shoemaker, where he learned the art of leatherworking. After working for a few years at a company in Milan that produced designer leather bags, he left in 1963 to work on his dream: Jean Claude, a brand, a company that brings Made in Italy: luxury style and craftsmanship to the world.
