A morning at Lago di Carezza / Karersee 🌲

After the surprise proposal at Alpe di Siusi, the story continued by the turquoise waters of Lago di Carezza, in front of the majestic Latemar group. Truly one of the most surreal landscapes in the Dolomites.

Some places don’t need much direction. You simply let the scenery do the work.

Dolomites • Part 1
A surprise proposal in Alpe di Siusi / Seiser Alm ⛰️💍

The first chapter of many stories I hope to tell across the Dolomites.

There are few places that feel as peaceful as Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s biggest mountain plateau. Wide rolling meadows, scattered wooden huts and towering peaks create a setting that hardly feels real.

The goal was simple, let the moment happen naturally. A little planning beforehand, an eye on the unpredictable mountain weather, and then quietly blending into the landscape as just another visitor until the surprise proposal.

Afterwards, we spent the next couple of hours exploring the surroundings, stopping whenever the light or the scenery invited us to.
