Borgogna.

There is a moment, after the harvest, when the vineyards change colour. The leaves turn a deep red, ripe grapes become w**e, and the light grows lower and warmer. Borgogna begins here: in the colour of the vine, of w**e in the glass, of shorter days that invite us to stay in.

On Lapalma furniture, it brings the same autumn feeling: spaces that feel more intimate and welcoming, made for slowing down.

A colour is known by the company it keeps.

Every shade in the Lapalma palette has been studied to dialogue with the others, and Borgogna is where that dialogue deepens. Dark, never sombre: a trace of purple keeps it red, warm and close to the materials around it.

Borgogna changes with what it meets. Beside light oak, it relaxes: the wood brings light, the red brings depth. Against wool and felt, it softens and loses its formality. Next to Sabbia, its intensity eases and the room turns bright and welcoming. On a single piece, it becomes a clear point of focus. Across a wider surface, it draws the space in.

It takes in the light and gives back intimacy. It is the choice that sets the tone. Add Borgogna, and everything beside it finds its place.

Borgogna.

One of the deepest tones in the Lapalma palette.
A dark red that stays red: a hint of purple gives it depth and keeps it warm. On a single element it adds character; across wider surfaces it makes a space distinctive.
It recalls red w**e, autumn vine leaves, velvet and deep lacquers. Dark, never sombre.

Elegance, warmth, intimacy.

Colour never lives alone. It lives in relation.

Every shade in the Lapalma palette has been studied to dialogue with the others, and White is where that dialogue begins. Never cold, never clinical: a subtle warmth makes it material, almost tactile, able to meet wood, fabric and metal without ever overpowering them.

White has many faces. Set against itself, in different materials, it gains depth without adding noise. Beside black, it sharpens every line and gives the room a rhythm. Among warm greys and natural fabrics, it turns quiet and enveloping, made for spaces meant to slow down. And next to a warm accent, it steps back to let colour breathe, while colour, in return, gives it a voice.

It holds light and shadow without saturating. It is the balance before the choice. Start from white, and every other choice becomes clearer.

Colour is not described. It is evoked.

When we think of white not as absence, but as the fold of a sheet of paper, the first light of morning, the stillness of a studio before a project takes shape, the smooth surface of a wall reflecting every nuance around it, we are not simply naming a shade. We are conveying an atmosphere.

White is not a void to be filled. It is the origin from which every colour is born, the threshold through which every choice in our palette passes. On Lapalma seating and tables, white becomes a living surface: it welcomes light, enhances the essential lines of the design and adapts to any context without ever imposing itself.

We don't just offer a white finish. We convey the feeling of the page before the first line, the studio before it opens, the project before it takes form: the same purity found in every piece we design, made to last beyond trends.

Colour as a living material.

Introducing the New Colour System by Lapalma: a palette of 16 shades developed with architect and designer Raffaella Mangiarotti. Colour accompanies materials, follows their forms, enhances their character and opens up new possibilities for combination.

Soft or graphic, luminous or intense, the new shades run through the Lapalma collection. Each shade gives every piece a different way of inhabiting space, always with the sense of measure that defines Lapalma language. Familiar forms open up to new atmospheres in contemporary homes, workspaces, hospitality and contract settings, in a harmonious dialogue between spaces and the people who use them.

Wood and metal, nature and technology. The office welcomes us back, bringing indoors the sense of serenity inspired by natural materials.

ORI creates a space where energy can flow freely and creative ideas can take shape.

The legs express the essence of the table designed by Romano Marcato: elegant in their lines and functional in their design, thanks to a concealed space that neatly houses cables and sockets.

Every project begins with a choice of materials that will shape not just the look, but also the longevity of our products.

We select only those that meet the highest standards of resistance, sustainability and aesthetic quality.

Whether it’s certified wood, recyclable aluminium, or eco-friendly upholstery, each material reflects our commitment to conscious design.

Proximity is also part of our sustainable approach: today, around 40 per cent of our suppliers are based in the province of Padua, within a 40-kilometre radius, and 70 per cent are located within the Veneto region.

Because in a world of endless options, making the right choice is a matter of responsibility.
