I’m forging this solid iron handle by hand, heating the metal until it becomes incandescent and shaping it with hammer and anvil using traditional blacksmithing techniques.

This handle will become part of one of my handmade pure copper umbrella stands, combining two ancient materials: forged iron and copper.

Every hammer blow leaves its own mark, making each piece unique. No mass production, no molds — just fire, metal, craftsmanship and patience.

🔥 Fighting fire with fire — literally.
This antique copper pot was buried under decades of soot. Instead of scrubbing for hours, I let flame undo what flame caused — burning off the carbon before restoring the copper to its original shine.
Sometimes the cure is the same as the disease. ✨

Crafting the copper base — the first step in shaping a handmade pot.
Here I’m forming the bottom and preparing the dovetail joint, a traditional technique that locks the base to the body with strength and precision.
Every strike, every cut, every curve is done by hand — no machines, just pure craftsmanship.

Nel mio laboratorio ho appena riportato alla vita un antico lavello in rame, un pezzo storico che meritava di tornare a splendere.
Ho eseguito una stagnatura interna professionale color argento, rifinita a mano come si faceva un tempo, e poi una lucidatura completa che ha risvegliato il calore e la brillantezza del rame originale.
Oggi questo lavello non è solo un oggetto restaurato: è un frammento di memoria artigianale, pronto a diventare protagonista in case rustiche, ambienti farmhouse, cucine vintage o spazi decorativi dal gusto antico.
Perfetto anche come vaso da parete o da soffitto, da appendere con una pianta al suo interno per creare un punto luce unico e scenografico.
