On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the Rotary Club of Amman Petra participated in a special joint meeting hosted by the Rotary Club of Amman West. The event was held in collaboration with the Rotary Clubs of Amman, Amman Philadelphia, and Amman Jordan River.
Marking Basic Education and Literacy Month, we welcomed guest speaker Mr. Munther Ibrahim Al-Sourani, President of the Private Schools Owners Syndicate.
Mr. Al-Sourani shared valuable perspectives on the shifts, challenges, and future of private education in Jordan.
It was an inspiring evening that captured the true essence of Rotary: meaningful connections, engaging dialogue, and strengthened fellowship across our clubs.

Rotary Club of Amman Petra had the distinction pleasure of hosting Ms. Banda Masadeh from Al Hadab Association for Down Syndrome on Monday August 3, 2026.
Ms. Masadeh shared an engaging and insightful presentation on how tourism and sports help include people with disabilities.
The session left our members deeply inspired to champion inclusivity in our own initiatives.

Rotary Club of Amman Petra participated in a joint meeting hosting H.E. Mrs. Stella Kloth , Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Jordan, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
Ambassador Kloth highlighted the long lasting ties between Jordan and the Netherlands, pointing to new teamwork in water management, farming innovation, trade, and humanitarian aid.
The event was organized by RC Amman Philadelphia and joined by RC Amman, RC Amman West, RC Amman Cosmopolitan, and RC Amman Jordan River.

In an atmosphere filled with gratitude and pride, Rotary Club of Amman Petra held its handover ceremony on Wednesday July 1, 2026.

We were privileged to have the presence and support of PDG Bashar Haddad, DGN Maher Al Khayyat, AG Mahfouz Said, distinguished guests and Rotary leaders.

Together with our honored guests, we commemorated the leadership transition from outgoing president Kamal Al Rawashdeh to Ridab Abutaleb marking the beginning of a new Rotary year of service and dedication.

During the ceremony PP Kamal Al Rawashdeh gave a report on the club’s achievements during RY 2025 -2026 after which he presented certificates of appreciation to board members and committee chairs.

Members also presented PP Kamal with a gift of appreciation for his dedication in making 2025 - 2026 a very successful year for our club.

Thank you PP President Kamal Al Rawashdeh for a very successful year.

In an atmosphere filled with gratitude and pride, Rotary Club of Amman Petra held its handover ceremony on Wednesday July 1, 2026.
