Members of Rotary Club of Amman Petra continued to share the love today by distributing Ramadan packages in the city of Salt, Jordan.

Ramadan packages containing curated food staples were distributed to 40 vulnerable families in Salt.

A special thanks goes to our partners, Al Zahra’ Charity Organization for helping to ensure a smooth distribution.

Members of Rotary Club of Amman Petra shared their love on Valentines Day by distributing winter clothing and Ramadan packages to children and families in Sheikh Hussein village in the North Valley of Jordan.

Winter clothing was distribute to over 70 young children. In addition, clothing, household items and Ramadan packages were distributed to needy families in the area.

A special thanks goes to our partners the Clothing Bank of the Hashemite Charitable Organization for providing us with clothing items and to the management and staff of JOHUD center at Sheikh Hussein for helping to ensure a smooth distribution.

Hifz Al Ne’meh is one of our ongoing projects where Rotary Club of Amman Petra members donate and collect items that are new or in very good conditions, to share with vulnerable families and communities.

In a joint meeting with RC Amman Petra and RC Amman Philadelphia, RC Amman Jordan River, RC Amman Jerash and RC Amman Citadel hosted HE Saed Bahaa Al-Masri on Monday, January 26, 2026.

HE Saed gave a captivating and very intriguing talk on “Intersecting Identities And The Need For Reconciliation In The Levant And Iraq”

During his talk, HE Saed addressed the fragmentation caused by identity in the Levant and Iraq. He also proposed an intellectual alliance and a grassroots network to promote reconciliation. The aim of which is to promote regional cohesion through dialogue, trust and common economic development.

Rotary Club of Amman Petra held a meeting on Monday December 23, 2025 to elect Club President for RY 2027 - 2028.

Congratulations to Mohammed Al Tamimi on receiving a Paul Harris Award.

This recognition is well earned. Mohammed consistently shows up with heart, integrity, and a real commitment to service above self. The impact he has through Rotary and in our community does not always seek attention, but it is felt by many.

Thank you Mohammed for leading by example and for making our club and our community stronger. Rotary is better because of you.

As part of our ongoing Hifz Al Ne’meh initiative, and with the support of our partners the Clothing Bank of the Hashemite Charitable Organization, Rotary Club of Amman Petra distributed winter clothing to the students of Al Raja’a School for Deaf Students on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Over 1000 pieces of new winter clothing, including winter coats, sh*ts, pants, sweaters, sleepwear and hats were distribute to 152 students from 1st to 12th grade.

A special thanks goes to our partners the Clothing Bank of the Hashemite Charitable Organization for providing all the clothing items and helping us in the organization of this very successful event. And to the principal, teachers and staff of Al Raja’a School for helping to ensure a smooth distribution.
