A day dedicated to recognizing the strength, resilience, and everyday contribution of donkeys in our communities.

Join us as we mark World Donkey Day on 8th May. Let us raise awareness, show compassion, and improve the welfare of donkeys.

Today, as we mark Labour Day, we take a moment to reflect on the many forms of work that sustain our communities and drive progress forward.

Among these, we also recognize the often-overlooked but vital role of the donkey-a true symbol of endurance, strength, and service. For generations, this hardworking animal has supported livelihoods by carrying essential loads, enabling daily work to continue in many communities. Its contribution is a quiet reminder that every form of effort, whether human or animal, plays a role in building our shared world.
As we celebrate this day, we honour all workers whose dedication, resilience, and commitment continue to shape our society in meaningful ways.

We extend our best wishes to all staff, partners, and all workers across different sectors this Labour Day.

Day 2 of our 13th Annual General Meeting is now underway- the official AGM session following yesterday’s Pre-AGM.

With the continued participation of our National Associates (NA), we build on the reflections and insights from yesterday’s deliberations, advancing key discussions, decisions, and that will shape our collective path forward.

It is a continued demonstration of accountability, shared purpose, and dedication to , community-driven development.

Today, we officially begin our 13th Annual General Meeting with the Pre-AGM session.

The session focuses on reflection and accountability, as the organization presents reports from the past year and reviews key resolutions, setting the stage for informed and meaningful discussions ahead.

It is a moment to take stock of progress, reaffirm commitments, and strengthen a shared vision for impactful, community-driven development.
