A Special Message from Kenyans for Tax Justice Social Movement!

On this International Working Women's Day, we rise together in revolutionary solidarity to honor and celebrate the fearless, militant women across the globe who are at the forefront of the struggle for liberation, justice, and equality. You are the torchbearers of change, the architects of a new world, and the embodiment of resilience and power.

To the women who fight tirelessly against oppression, exploitation, and patriarchy—we see you. To the women who organize in their communities, who take to the streets, who challenge systems of power, and who demand a world rooted in love, care, peace, harmony, justice, and unity—we salute you. Your courage is our inspiration, your resistance is our strength, and your victories are our collective triumph.

We recognize that the struggle for women's liberation is inseparable from the struggle against capitalism, imperialism, racism, and all forms of systemic violence. You, the militant women of the world, understand this deeply. You are the ones who carry the weight of multiple oppressions, yet you rise, unbroken and unyielding, to dismantle these structures and build a future where all people can thrive.

Today, we celebrate not just the progress made, but the revolutionary spirit that drives us forward. We celebrate the women who lead movements, who nurture communities, who educate and empower, and who refuse to accept a world built on inequality and exploitation. We celebrate the mothers, the workers, the students, the artists, the activists, the warriors—the women who dare to dream of a better world and who fight to make that dream a reality.

As a movement, we stand with you. We stand with the women of Palestine, resisting occupation and apartheid. We stand with the women of Sudan, fighting for democracy and freedom. We stand with the women of Kurdistan, building a society based on radical democracy and gender liberation. We stand with the Indigenous women defending their lands and cultures against extraction and destruction. We stand with the migrant women, the incarcerated women, the q***r and trans women, and all those who face the sharpest edges of oppression.

Your struggles are our struggles. Your liberation is our liberation.

To the militant women of Kenya and the world, we say: your fight is our fight. We see the ways in which economic injustice disproportionately burdens women—through unpaid care work, exploitative labor conditions, and regressive tax policies that deepen inequality. We stand with you in demanding a fair and just tax system that prioritizes public services, healthcare, education, and social protection—systems that lift the burden off women and create a more equitable society.

We honor the Kenyan women who are organizing against corruption, austerity, and economic violence. We stand with the mothers, the farmers, the market vendors, the workers, and the activists who are leading the charge for a Kenya and a world where resources are shared equitably, and where women are free from the chains of poverty and exploitation.

On this day, we recommit ourselves to the fight for a world where no woman is exploited, oppressed, or silenced. A world where care and community are valued over profit and power. A world where love and solidarity are the foundations of our societies.

To all the militant women of the world: you are the revolution. Your fire ignites the path to freedom, and your strength fuels our collective power. Together, we will dismantle the old world and build a new one—a world of justice, equality, and boundless possibility.
