Black Sheep Innovation is a youth empowerment organization. We render Liberian youth an opportunity to utilize their creative intellect in order to create jobs for themselves in the private sector. We are creating an alternative avenue for Liberian youth because the formal education and training system is not accessible to most. We will provide job-related vocational skills training that will help boost the capacity of Liberians, and connect them to a global market via an on-line platform that packages, markets and sells their goods, helping them to create sustainable livelihoods. We will provide technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in the following areas:

Textiles and leathercrafts

Woodwork

Engineering and manufacturing

Printing and packaging

Renewable Energy

Creative & graphic design

To be a preferred technical training provider, offering attractive, affordable and contextualized services to Liberian Youth, helping them leapfrog into the 21st century

To generate revenue for Liberia though the sale of high quality, internationally marketable products created through the program

To create a sustainable network of young Liberians who can collaboratively apply their acquired skills to joint projects, amplifying the impact of the program

To increase the scale of the training beyond Liberia’s capital into all 15 counties through the use of e-learning, distance-based and appropriate technologies
