The space doubles as showroom and private home of Sofie Christensen Egelund, 3rd generation Vipp-owner and her husband Frank Christensen Egelund, their two kids, and a Golden Retriever.

Our highlights of 3DD:
1-7 Vitra presented the new lounge chair Bascule, created in partnership with Studio Œ, alongside updated versions of Verner Panton’s designs marking the centenary of his birth, and the Anagram Club sofa system by Panter&Tourron. New variants of the Mynt and Mikado chairs complete the showroom concept in Nordhavn.

8-9 Returning for its second year, the Kvadrat & Vitra Café welcomed visitors with seasonal dishes by chef Mikkel Karstad, set among Kvadrat textiles and Vitra’s iconic furniture.

10-11 A special edition of the Vipp Swivel Chair, created exclusively for the x Mesura installation.

12-13 Where printmaking meets wood bending - has joined forces with Finnish design house Marimekko to present a limited edition furniture collection.

14-16 House Copenhagen set the stage for GUBI Scenes: a series of composed settings that explore how design shapes the way we live, gather, and experience atmosphere.

17-20 ‘Artistic Position in Space’: Groppi’s collaborative installation together with Agape, Agape Casa, Garde Hvalsøe and V-ZUG.

Lucia Eames collection ʚɞ

and the Eames Office, in collaboration with Form Portfolios, introduce a collection of rugs based on original artworks by American artist Lucia Eames™, sole child of designer Charles Eames and beloved step-daughter to his partner in life and work, Ray Eames. The collection translates Lucia’s distinctive visual language into woven form, marking a significant expansion of her artistic legacy through material, craft, and contemporary design.

Seki-Han: the poetics of wood and light

Born in Venice in 1935, Tobia Scarpa, is celebrated architect and designer whose work is defined by a vision that transcends convention.

First designed in 1963, Seki-Han is a masterpiece that reflects Scarpa’s refined sensibility. Formed by two sculptural wooden blades enclosing a tubular light source, its intricate construction draws on naval architecture and Scarpa’s deep knowledge of woodworking.

Reimagined by Flos in close collaboration with Tobia Scarpa, the 2025 edition is subtly transformed, meeting contemporary demands for performance and versatility while preserving the design’s essence.

Signature lamp by 2023
Inspired by the idea of chance – the uncontrolled form created by a falling cable - the Signature lamp by Ingo Maurer appears like a three-dimensional drawing in a room. The combination of a soft cable, which is connected to a springy, circular structure in simple black, creates the impression for the viewer that it has a coincidental, continuous shape. At the end of this construction, there is an elegant, deliberately inconspicuous lampshade that does not, steal the show from the tangle of cables.

Saarinen Tulip Side Chair
Designed by Eero Saarinen, 1957

The designs were initially entitled the ‘Pedestal Group’ before Saarinen and Knoll settled on the more organic sounding ‘Tulip chair’ to mirror its inspiration from nature. It was designed primarily as a chair to match the complementary dining table. The chair has the smooth lines of modernism and was experimental with materials for its time. The chair is considered a classic example of industrial design.
