Fortran ( Formula - Translator) est le premier langage de programmation de haut niveau (*), il est principalement utilisé pour le calcul scientifique, il a été inventé en 1954.

Le premier article scientifique mentionnant FORTRAN, intitulé “ Preliminary Report, Specifications for the IBM Mathematical FORmula TRANslating System, FORTRAN ” a été publié par John Backus, un directeur d'équipe chez IBM.

(*) Un langage de haut niveau permet d'écrire des programmes d'une manière plus familière, avec des mots proches de la langue anglaise en général.

Samsung Mobile just unveiled their latest smartphones: Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, the new phones are expected to be priced at 720$ (s8) and 840$ (s8+) and are expected to be available in stores on April 21st.

New features include an improved display, improved camera, face recognition (Iris Scanner), and ; Samnsung's new personal assistant.

Samsung also launched a set of new devices and accessories including a new Gear VR, an 'all new' Gear 360 camera, and Samsung DeX: a new way to transform the Galaxy S8 and S8+ into a fully functional desktop copmuter.

Both Android and iOS run mobile applications, these applications are built natively in the Java programming language (Android), or Swift (or Objective-C, for iOS).
Today, there are over 2.2 MILLION Android apps on the Google Play Store, and nearly 2 MILLION apps on Apple’s App Store.
