Components that made up the motor are.
Armature
The armature ( also known as the rotor ), is a small bearing - like piece in the center of the motor construction, when it receives the magnetic force of the stator and windings, it spins , powering the motor.

Before you start the rewinding of any motor,the first thing to do is to wipe off your work surface with a light Components that made up the motor are.
1.Stator.

In an electric motor, the stator provides a rotating magnetic field that drives the rotating armature

Let's look into the step by step procedure to build this kind of automatic changeover.

Single phase automatic changeover with one contactor, one timer and an alarm.
1. Connect the live wire and the neutral wire of the utility power supply (PHCN) to the terminals L1 & L2 of the contactor respectively.

2. Connect terminal L1 to terminal A1 of the contactor.
3. Connect terminal L2 to terminal A2 of the contactor.

4. From A1 terminal of the contactor, connect a wire to A1 terminal of the timer.

5. From A2 terminal of the contactor , connect a wire to A2 terminal of the timer.

6. From A1 terminal of the contactor, connect a wire to common terminal of the timer (C).

7. Connect one wire of the alarm to Normally closed terminal of the timer (NC), and connect the second wire of the alarm to the A2 terminal of the same timer.

Note that the A1 & A2 of the timer are the coil terminals ( energizing terminals)

8. Connect the live wire and the neutral wire of the generator supply to the terminals 21 and 31 of the contactor respectively.

9. Connect terminal 22 to T1 terminal of the contactor, then connect terminal 32 to T2 terminal of the contactor.

Connect the supply load wires to terminals T1 and T2 of the contactor.
