Jorge Administration: Master Woodcarving & Bespoke Luxury Furniture: Awakening Solid Wood Through Chisel and Gouge Since 1997.
Around 820 AD, the legendary Oseberg ship became the archaeological pinnacle of relief woodcarving. Today, where ordinary carpentry ends, our obsession begins. At Jorge Kurczyn Furniture, we reject cold automation because a machine only obeys orders, but the steel in our hands awakens the wood.

Master Woodcraft & Bespoke Luxury Furniture: Engineering Indestructible Solid Wood Structures Since 1997.

They say wood has a limit until engineering and master craftsmanship prove otherwise. Inspired by history's greatest feats of extreme carpentry, like Archimedes' legendary Syracusia, Jorge Kurczyn Furniture pushes the boundaries of structural design and monumental woodworking.

How do you expand a masterpiece without having the original piece in sight? At Jorge Kurczyn Furniture, design evolves with our clients. Today we show you the structure of a completely custom-built extension, replicating inch by inch the style and essence of a piece of furniture we crafted in the past.

This demands mathematical precision, technical memory, and total mastery of fine woodworking to guarantee a perfect joint. Today it is pure structural engineering, but very soon we will reveal the completed work.

What do you think of the level of detail in our workshop? We invite you to closely follow this process.

The deep and wild texture of buffalo hide, which appears so authentic, seamlessly fusing with the smoothness of polished leather. A bold contrast that only expert hands can execute to perfection.

At Jorge Kurczyn Furniture, we transform exceptional raw materials into tangible luxury. The alignment of every seam and the exact tension of the thread are not accidents; they are the reflection of our unwavering commitment to excellence.

We present to you a strict exercise in proportion and material contrast, where every element fulfills a specific structural and visual function. Here, we only create original designs.

360-Degree Design: Impeccable from every angle. The back reveals a pair of intertwined solid wood horns that provide three-dimensional volume. Below, a full panel of light hair-on cowhide breaks the dark palette to balance the visual weight.

Hierarchy in Italian Leathers: We apply an intentional dichotomy: smooth leather on the main cushion to maximize durability, contrasted with deeply textured panels on the sides. In the center, the cross embroidered in light thread acts as the visual anchor that unifies the symmetry.

The Master Touch: Metal conchos that are not from a catalog. They are pieces forged, hammered, and detailed by hand right here in our workshop, providing the raw metallic accent that authenticates its manufacture.

This Western-style table is an exact layering of materials where aesthetics never compromise structural integrity.

Hammered copper, carved wood, tooled leather, horns, and structural steel. Each material fulfills a specific technical function to bring an original design to life.

At Jorge Kurczyn Furniture, solid wood carving goes beyond the artistic; it is a matter of pure mechanics and precision. Every relief we sculpt in our workshop demands absolute technical rigor and a profound respect for the material:

Reading the grain: Wood is composed of directional fibers. Our first step is always to anticipate how that fiber changes in every inch of the block to avoid splintering and achieve a flawless cut.
Exact geometry: We select V-gouges and straight chisels with a bevel honed to an angle between 20 and 25 degrees. This guarantees a clean cut, leaving a smooth and glossy surface from the very first pass.
Volumetric control: Depth and volume are not achieved in a single impact. We work in layers, evenly reducing the background to protect the structural strength of the piece.
Real-time adaptation: When the grain density changes abruptly or a knot appears, we modify the cut laterally to keep the geometric integrity of the ornament intact.

We apply principles of geometry and physics to our manufacturing processes, guaranteeing that every structural and decorative detail meets the highest quality standards.

True timeless excellence is sculpted blow by blow.
