Matahari Furnishings, a family run business has its home in Bintulu, and was born in March 2007 from a need to supply locals with quality solid wood furniture that can last for ages. Each unique piece of furniture is handmade by us to withstand the trials of modern day living and is polished or painted in a variety of colours and finishes to enhance the natural beauty of each piece allowing you to create a stylish and individual home. Finishings for "Natural Look" are first of soaked in teak oil, then 2 coats of sanding sealer is applied. Another 2 coats of water based pollyeurethane is added to ensure total protection. Talk about paying attention to detalis!!! We are all individuals and the way we furnish our homes is an expression of who we are, to reflect this we constantly strive to create distinctive and yet elegant collections with an emphasis on design and attention to detail.
