总会长率领业界代表出席世界家具联合会产业发展大会暨亚太家具颁奖典礼。

马来西亚共有6家企业荣获“亚太卓越品牌奖”，彰显我国家具业在区域市场的卓越表现与品牌实力。

The President led a delegation of industry representatives to attend the World Furniture Industry Development Conference cm Asia-Pacific Furniture Awards Ceremony.

A total of six Malaysian companies were honoured with the Asia-Pacific Outstanding Brand Award, reflecting the excellence and growing strength of Malaysia’s furniture industry in the regional market.

2026 Annual General Meeting of the World Furniture Confederation

2026 世界家具联合会年度大会今日于中国江西赣州南康隆重召开。
总会长与署理总会长受邀出席本次大会。会议由亚太家具联合会会长兼中国家具协会理事长徐祥楠先生主持。
会上，总会长亦代表分享亚洲家具企业当前的发展现况、产业趋势及未来展望。

The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the World Furniture Confederation was held today in Nankang, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China.

The President and Deputy President were invited to attend the meeting, which was chaired by Mr Xu Xiangnan, President of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Furniture Associations (CAPFA) and Chairman of the China National Furniture Association.

During the session, the President was also invited to share insights on the current landscape, industry trends, and future outlook of Asian furniture enterprises.

The President and Deputy President attended the CAPFA 27th Annual General Meeting held today in Nankang, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China. The meeting was chaired by CAPFA Chairman and President of the China National Furniture Association, Mr Xu Xiangnan.

The President was also invited to share insights on the current situation and developments of Malaysian furniture enterprises.

SME Stabilisation Relief Facility (SME SRF)
中小企业稳定援助融资计划（SME SRF）

Dear Esteemed MFC Members,
For your information, applications for Bank Negara Malaysia’s SME Stabilisation Relief Facility (SME SRF) are now open.

The SME SRF is a RM5 billion financing facility introduced by Bank Negara Malaysia to provide timely working capital financing to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), including microenterprises, that are materially affected by the ongoing geopolitical conflict in West Asia.

Below are the key features of the SME SRF:
• Financing of up to RM750,000 per SME
• Financing tenure of up to 5 years
• Maximum financing rate of 3.75% per annum (inclusive of a guarantee fee of 0.5% per annum)
• Guarantee coverage of up to 80% through Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia (CGC) or Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan (SJPP)

SMEs may apply through participating financial institutions (https://www.bnm.gov.my/documents/20124/6025157/smesrf-pfi-en-11may26.pdf) from 15 May 2026 until 31 December 2026, or until full utilisation of the facility, whichever comes first.

以下为 SME SRF 的主要特点：

The 2026 Qingdao International Furniture Fair & Qingdao International Woodworking Machinery & Raw Materials Exhibition (QIFF & QIMMF) is being held from 15 to 18 May 2026 at the Qingdao Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center. MFC Vice President Mr Lim Hee Tiang, together with members of the Youth Committee, was invited to attend today’s Opening Ceremony.

BNM SME Stablisation Relief Facility (SME SRF)
马来西亚国家银行中小企业稳定援助融资计划（SME SRF）

Dear esteemed MFC members,
For your information, the Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has announced the creation of the SME Stabilisation Relief Facility (SME SRF) amounting up to RM 5 billion.

The fund is intended to serve as a short-term financial relief for businesses (SME and MSME) which are affected by the conflict in the Middle East.

Eligible companies are able to obtain financing up to RM 750,000.00 per company with a financing rate up to 3.75% per annum up to 5 years.

Application for this relief is availably from May 15 – December 3, 2026 or until full utilization.

In conjunction with the AGM 2026 will be the election of the Governing Committee Members (GCM) for the term 2026/2029. The details of the AGM 2026 are as follows: -

Valid MFC members are hereby invited to nominate eligible MFC Ordinary Members for the election of GCM 2026/2029 and submit motions for discussion and motions for amendments to the MFC Rules and Constitution (if any) to be tabled at the AGM 2026. All motions must be accompanied with relevant background information including a rationale for the amendment and submitted in English language.

All motions and nomination forms must reach the Honorary Secretary General at the MFC Secretariat on or before 4.30 PM on MAY 22, 2026. All nominations and motions received will be subject to the MFC GC's verification and approval prior to being tabled at the AGM 2026.

ALL MFC MEMBERS MUST ENSURE THE VALIDITY OF THEIR MFC MEMBERSHIP BY PAYING THEIR MFC SUBSCRIPTION 2026 AND OTHER DUES ON OR BEFORE MAY 22, 2026. IN ORDER TO BE ENTITLED TO ATTEND, VOTE, APPOINT A PROXY, NOMINATE AND / OR BE NOMINATED AT THE AGM 2026.

The Agenda of the AGM 2026 including minutes, reports, motions, nominations, and audited accounts will be sent to all members seven (7) days before the AGM 2026. If you do not receive the above, kindly inform the MFC Secretariat immediately.
