Connecting Young Minds to a World of Possibilities.

We welcomed 40 Grade 12 learners from ELCIN Nkurenkuru High School for an educational tour aimed at broadening their exposure to technology, innovation and the world of telecommunications. The learners visited the MTC Digital Transformation Centre at NUST, the Contact Centre and MTC Head Office, gaining first-hand insight into how MTC operates and the diverse careers that power the telecommunications industry. They were received by Mr Gustav Andreas, General Manager: Product Solutions, Mr Elton Katangolo, General Manager: Sales, Enterprise & CRM and Mr Nawa Likando, Manager: Digital Transformation.

Beyond experiencing MTC behind the scenes, the tour encouraged learners to think about life beyond Grade 12 and explore career paths across technology, engineering, marketing, customer experience, business and other fields. Learners were also introduced to MTC’s bursary and internship opportunities, highlighting pathways to further their education and gain valuable workplace experience. Through initiatives such as these, we continue to connect young minds to knowledge, opportunity and a future filled with possibilities.
