Yesterday at the WOODstyles Experience Center, we had the pleasure of hosting “ROOTS to ROUTE: An Evening of Interior Design Stories & Futures in Nigeria” — an inspiring fireside chat and networking event celebrating the past, present, and future of the interior design profession.

We were honoured to have in attendance Prof Dolapo Amole, Professor of Architecture and respected design educator at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, Nigeria, T**i Ogufere, Founder of Made by Design and Design Week Lagos; Jacqueline Aki, President of the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN); alongside other esteemed members of the Association, tutors, students, and design professionals.

It was an evening of meaningful conversations, shared experiences, industry insights, and valuable connections as we explored how far the profession has come and the exciting opportunities ahead for the next generation of designers.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening truly memorable.
