Just last week I confronted my daughter's teacher about someone who bullied everyone in his class including my 7 year old , her weekly stories always included him harassing her verbally in one of sort of way or another .

At first I thought nothing of it , then I noticed a pattern by this time my casual hello to mother of the said boy was now forced and almost with murderous grin on my face for the most part I looked away when throwing this greeting along on the playground as we waited to pick the kids . Then and then did I decide to confront the teacher ,that must have been the first time I greeted her a straight face if not a frown and before I finished, she told me oh he had been moved and a lot of other measures that had been put in place .

I still stylishly follow up with my daughter for updates because I really don't him to be all that we talk about when she gets back from school, life is more fun than being preoccupied with 'bullying stories'.

I do have my sights on that boy, the teacher , the school , !!!!.

ALL CULPABLE INDIVIDUALS AND AUTHORITIES MUST BE BROUGHT TO BOOK. I know I wont be able to watch the video or interviews but the Chinese whispers I have heard of this incidence still breaks my heart. The only question I asked the first time a dear friend was trying to narrate this to me was" what happened to the dormitory/ hostel mates that witnessed this . Not of them spoke to the school authority the next day . Or this group of boys are so powerful that even the kids are sure the school will do nothing!!!!! Many angles to this.

As much as it was an item on my " to do list for 4 years" , this training ( handsewn , bespoke soft furnishing ) was hard on me , physically, mentally .

I expected it to be fun and easy to navigate ,i mean common, i was learning , unlearning and relearning in field that has been my playground the last ten years .😲😲😲

I had amazing course mates and an awesome teacher, the last time a teacher had my heart 🥰🥰🥰was in SS 1 ( almost 28 years ago).

So well done to me and my cheerleaders . One down, 3 more to go.

Its 4am , not able to sleep when I am not in my house , I really don't get to enjoy nights away from home. I love all the fun activities during the day when I step away from my children and husband but the night issa struggle. 😥😥😥

To the main gist for today, in a few hours I'll be in class. For 4 years this training has been on my 'goal list' ♥. this year, this moment , I am asking if I want it , what if after investing so much I leave the trade? This is the first time since I have had this as a goal that doubt creeps in ........

Here i am , taking baby steps towards my dream...... Perfecting the art of COUTURED FULLY HAND STICTHED CURTAINS!!!!! Of course it had to be SOFT FURNISHING😂😂😂😂, MY DAY ONE LOVE 💘 💕 💗 💓 💖 ❤.

I wanted this day to go quietly as most years but this year I left my phone on from morning (ok I was threatened by a close few ). I usually like my birthdays quiet so I would switch off my phone from morning till around evening because I found the calls and chats( from Facebook, old students class groups, family and friends ) overwhelming but someone dear reminded me last year that I should embrace the love that I must have given to receive that much.

So this year I have come to say thank you to all who have made these 44 years journey a worthy one. Infact this year , (baby steps ) i announced my birthday in a closed mastermind group(something I would cringe if I thought I did) 😀😀and the comments that followed made me teary .🤗😭

I realised I dont take my self and my genius seriously enough . I AM NECESSARY, not to all but I am to those i am sent to.

PS. I share the same date with my hubby . No that's not how we met .😋.
