It was a great event yesterday evening!
presented their new colloction at . I made the hats and scarfs together with my assistant Lars. It was a real feast to see the final results of our coopration in combination with the sculptural and unusal bodypieces and garnments these designers created. There was also a beautiful exhibition of who tried to capture the title of the event in huge impressive photographs. After the show the hats were also presented in the exhibtion, you could visit after the show and in between the two panel talks.
There was a large and enthousiastic audiance. Congratulations to the 3 men of ŪLKŪHANBATUHAN

Last weekend we me and my assistent Lars Holm finished the hats and accessoires for the designers . They’re new collection will be shown coming Friday at .

Last weekend the’ SUMMER DANCE FOREVER ‘event took place in Paradiso Amsterdam. Dancers from all over the world went to Amsterdam to participate in dance battles. I had the pleasure to see some of them in my hatshop, they made their moves in front of the mirror while trying and buying hats and caps.

My niece Ornella is wearing my ‘sunseed’ cap, a grafical and ingenieus design, this one is made of a beautiful buntal material , but you can also order it in jeans or other materials.

Today we are busy making hats and accessories, for the coöperation with the inspiring designers ŪLKŪHAN BATUHAN, Ülkühan&Batuhan for the presentation of their new work at Felix Meritus in Amsterdam
on September 4th, during the Amsterdam Fashion week.

Last Saturday we had a small gathering; we popped the corks after a short speech for the festive presentation of a artwork the artist Sam Holwerda designed and made for the facade of my shop in the hart of Amsterdam.
The beautiful work, inspired by my hatdesigns, makes my shop more visible and the Sint Jansstraat a nicer street! thank you Sam!!!

Invitation; coming Saturday the 8th of August there is a festive presentation of a commisioned artwork by Sam Holwerda on the facade of my hat shop in the Sint Jansstraat in Amsterdam. Welcome between 17.00 and 18.00, admire the work and meet the artist!

After selling the first of this design shortly after making it I felt a bit empty, so I made a new one, its made of vintage material. The artificial feather makes the difference , it is made of buntal fiber.

Collage of a few caps, they are in this way looking like small water beetles. The caps are made of strawbraid.
