The story behind the details.

In this reel, Dianne takes you through one of our favourite looks from the Fall Winter 2026 collection, with a special focus on the Ralph Lauren Big Fit Chino.

What makes this chino particularly interesting is its relaxed, oversized silhouette and the playful embroidered ducks.

The ducks are a reference to Ralph Lauren’s long-standing fascination with American outdoor heritage, particularly hunting, fishing and traditional sporting clothing.

A small detail that brings character and a touch of humour to an otherwise timeless chino.

In search of Vincent Auvers-sur-Oise.

For our Fall Winter 2026 season, we travelled to Auvers-sur-Oise, following in the footsteps of Vincent van Gogh.
Van Gogh is the inspiration behind our collection and creative world this season. But for us, inspiration goes beyond looking at his paintings. We wanted to come closer to the places he knew, the landscapes he painted and the colours, light and surroundings that shaped his final works.

We walked through the wheatfields, visited Auberge Ravoux and stood inside the small room where Vincent spent the final 70 days of his life. We saw the streets, houses and landscapes that found their way onto his canvases.

Being there gave us a different way of looking at his work. And we brought those impressions home with us to Arnhem, where they became part of the colours, textures, styling and atmosphere surrounding our Fall Winter collection.

Heritage, seen through a different lens.

For Fall Winter 2026, Ralph Lauren revisits the familiar language of classic menswear through colour, texture and proportion.

A traditional plaid takes on a different character in a rich, high-pile fleece. Deep reds, greens and darker tones blend into a soft, almost painterly surface, while the relaxed, slightly cropped silhouette gives it a more contemporary attitude.

We like pieces that carry a sense of history without feeling bound by it. Worn with darker layers, the jacket becomes all about texture and colour, allowing something familiar to feel unexpected again.

Wheatfield with Crows, 1890.

One of Van Gogh’s most powerful and recognisable paintings, created during the final weeks of his life in Auvers-sur-Oise.

A vast wheatfield, a dark blue sky and black crows above three paths that seem to disappear into the landscape. Van Gogh himself wrote about paintings from this period that he wanted to express “sadness, extreme loneliness”, while at the same time showing how healthy and strengthening he found the countryside.

This painting has stayed with us throughout our Van Gogh journey.

Perhaps even more so because we visited Auvers-sur-Oise together with our family. We walked through the fields and stood in the landscape where Vincent spent his final weeks painting.

There is something incredibly special about first knowing a work from a museum wall, and then standing in the landscape that inspired it.

For this story, menswear and jewellery come together through a shared love for craftsmanship, material and pieces made with intention.

The jewellery worn by Giel is handmade in Arnhem by Minouche & Rûne. Crafted from 14 and 18 carat gold, freshwater pearls and raw diamond, with rings shaped by a distinctive melted finish. Organic, tactile and deliberately imperfect, making every piece feel individual.

Alongside the textures and materials of Neighbourhood’s Fall Winter collection, the jewellery becomes part of the look rather than simply an accessory.

A special invitation.

Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of being invited to the official opening of Van Gogh, All Our Paintings at the Kröller-Müller Museum.

A particularly special exhibition: for the first time since 1984, all 88 Van Gogh paintings from the museum’s collection are brought together. Presented through faith, hope and love, three themes that run deeply through Vincent’s life and work.

To see all these works together was incredibly special, especially in a season in which we have been exploring Vincent’s world so closely ourselves.

Thank you, Kröller-Müller Museum, for inviting us and for such an inspiring day.

The many faces of tweed.

Few fabrics carry as much character and history as tweed. Its rich texture, warmth and depth have made it a timeless part of menswear, and worn in its most classic form, we still find it incredibly beautiful.

But tweed doesn’t have to tell only one story.

This season, we also like to give it a more playful character. Layer it with a bright colour, add a sporty sweatshirt underneath or bring in unexpected baseball-inspired details. Suddenly, something deeply rooted in traditional menswear feels completely different.

That contrast is what we love. Classic when you want it to be. Relaxed and playful when you change the layers around it. The fabric remains the same, but the way you wear it gives it a new perspective.

Finished with jewellery by Minouche & Rûne, handmade in Arnhem, where raw forms, soft pearls and 14k gold come together in unexpected ways.
