The top is original veneered with macassar ebony veneer.
All four legs are decorated with solid macassar ebony elements

The Modernist look of this wonderful Art Deco credenza or sideboard by J.A. Muntendam for L.O.V. Oosterbeek is also known in the Netherlands under the name Haagse School. The Haagse School was inspired by the designs of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The famous Dutch Art Magazine Wendingen published a series of articles on Frank Lloyd Wright in 1925. Well known architects of the Haagse School are Hendrik Wouda, Jan Wils, Frits Spanjaard, Cor Alons and Jan Brunott.
