Niels Otto Møller model 68 Oak & papercord armchair, J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, 1981

An elegant Model 68 armchair in solid oak with a hand-woven natural papercord seat, designed in 1981 by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik — one of the final designs Møller completed before his death in 1982. The chair carries every hallmark of his mature style: a gently curved ladder back with four horizontal slats, tapered sculpted legs, and armrests that flow seamlessly into the frame with softly rounded terminals. The joinery is crisp and confident, the oak grain left to speak for itself under a warm, lightly lacquered finish available
