Aroan is all about trekking wears and gears. Every corner of the store is thoughtfully designed and built to reflect the journey of a trekker. From textures to material choices, every element is a quiet homage to the trails, terrains, and stories that shape the trekking experience.

The bold ACP façade stands as the first chapter—its form inspired by the rise and fall of Himalayan silhouettes. The building being 6ft inside from the road, wasn't very noticeable before. That's why we wanted to create something that would instantly catches people's eye.

Of course, designing it on the computer was one thing—it looked great and everyone loved it. But bringing it to life was a whole different challenge. After a bunch of trials and tweaks, it finally started coming together.

Inside, we carried the same spirit. The main reception counter was designed with different contour levels of hills and mountains—almost like the layers a trekker climbs through. The backdrop behind the counter follows the same idea, and once we added light to it, the whole concept just came alive.

Moving further in, we even played with the floor. We had to cut it open in several places to conceal wires for electrical points, but instead of redoing the entire flooring (which would’ve been costly), we thought—why not turn it into a design element? That’s how the red floor carving with signage came about, symbolizing the different directions trekkers travel. What started as a practical fix actually turned into one of the most interesting parts of the space.

A year filled with teamwork, resilience, laughter, and the chaos we held together. Here’s to rising—upwards and onwards. 4th Anniversary
