What to do with a dark corner of a very large room? Go rich and even darker with feature walls! Artisan Matte Estate wall paint is a dream to use, with excellent coverage and no dripping. This colour Royal Navy is a bold choice, and looks like dark velvet in this downstairs light. Complemented by my teal velvet sofa. My door is painted with Artisan Hokitika Gorge and trimmed with crisp Beluga (which goes beautifully with blue) and Parisian Grey. What do you think? The Artisan Company Dooney & Daughters

Roses vintage table, solid wood.

This vintage scalloped square side table is decoupaged in the very romantic Re design Flower Market paper. The table is painted with Artisan Grassmere and brushed with Old Chiffon to give an aged stone appearance. The final touch is rose gold wax which brings together the vintage elements.
