An award does not make anyone's pool any better.

What it does mean is that a manufacturer dealing with builders right across Australia and New Zealand looked at how a full year of our jobs went, start to finish, and put us top of the North Island.

A full year of jobs is not a trophy. It is a crew turning up in the rain, getting the levels right when nobody is watching, and answering the phone at half four on a Friday.

That is who won this.

Edward collected it. First time most of us have seen him in a tie. 😏

This wasn't one of them.

No road in. No access. Just bush, a steep drop and a client who wanted a pool anyway.

So it flew.

Everything after that felt fairly relaxed. 😏

Far more convenient. 😏

From “what have we done?”

To “why didn’t we do this sooner?”

There’s a brief stage in every pool build where the backyard looks mildly concerning.

Then this happens. 💦

Waterfront property.

And still room for a Fiji Plunge.

Because sometimes you want a swim without launching the boat, checking the tide or pretending the water isn’t freezing.

Compact, practical and very easy to wander into with a drink in hand.

Hard to argue with that.

Turns out choosing a pool colour is a bit like choosing white paint.

You think it’ll take five minutes.

Then suddenly you’ve got opinions.

Ebony Blue for the mood.

Sapphire Blue for the sparkle.

Diamond Sand for the holiday feel.

Silver Grey for the clean, modern look.

And these are only four of the colours available.
