The reveal next weekend !!

This project has got me in a bit of a pickle….I have these lovely bedsides on which the wooden drawer k***s are fixed, so that there is no screw to remove them on the inside of the drawer, & the k***s interfere with my artwork. So I had to pry them off, then fill the huge holes with Dixie Belle Paint Company Mud, then sand flat. Then i encountered another problem of finding micro k***s to place on either side of each drawers. I just couldn’t find any till I hit upon an 💡 idea!! What if I use jewellery box hardware?? That was the perfect fit on these drawers!! Placed on each end of the 3 drawers, small enough to blend in & not interfere with the artwork!! I can finally rest easy & not dream about k***s 🤣😁

This is how it started… the front artwork was then extended on all 4 sides. I even added thigh high boots for the lady. This was a meticulous &long process.

♥️♠️ Harlequin Lady — One-of-a-Kind Statement Tallboy ♠️♥️🏁

This beautiful vintage tallboy has undergone a complete artistic transformation, and it has truly been a labour of love.

To make this design work, I had to extend the artwork by approximately 7cm on both sides, as well as across the top and bottom. This was far from a simple decoupage project. I hand-painted the missing sections of the artwork, carefully continuing the colours, brushwork, flowing lines and details so the original image would transition naturally across the entire dresser.

The checks along the bottom were individually drawn and painted entirely by hand — no stencils and no tape work.

Every small detail was taken into account to create this bespoke piece in silver, cream, red and black.

This is not a factory finish or a mass-produced piece. It is a truly unique piece of functional art.
