We were thrilled when asked us to build a counter for their new Christchurch venue located at 105 Orbell Street. The result seamlessly blends old and new, design and colour, adding a touch of elegance that we hope reflects the essence of . Thanks for the opportunity!

Breathing new life into leftover timber, we've crafted a simple yet sturdy desk or sideboard. The combination of walnut, ash, oak, rimu, maple, and totara creates a striking contrast. By letting the wood speak for itself, we've created a functional piece with understated elegance. Let us know what you think.

Sometimes simple is best. Beauty can be found in unexpected places, like the bin. Every piece, no matter how small, has functional potential. Experiment with designs by utilizing tiny scraps that would otherwise be discarded. Ash, oak, rimu, and totara. From scraps to stunning creations.

In a celebration of sustainability, we've repurposed wood scraps into a beautiful chopping board. Featuring Rimu, Elm, Ash and Walnut, this piece highlights the natural hues and grains of each timber. From mistake to masterpiece, we're delighted with the result and hope you appreciate it!

Today in the sunshine, ELSKA MOBLER finished off this stunning Southern Beech dining table with Purple heart 💜 bow ties😍😍 We designed this piece with a mid century style in mind and adding the bow ties creates a modern feel to it. The two timbers complement each other with their contrasting colours.

Today at Elska Mobler, we put our skills to the test. Gluing up a classical guitar that had fallen off a wall (it's not all bespoke furniture at Elska Mobler!!) The fall had cracked in two places, both on the top side, one close to the neck and the other near the bridge. Hopefully we will have success in repairing this practice guitar which may bring more inspiration and confidence into making our first ever guitar...classical, arch top, dreadnought guitar...or maybe we start small and think big with a ukulele 🎸🎶 🎵
