🌿 Time for Change. Time for Colour. 🎨
At Catherine Brennan Design, I believe your home should inspire you — not drain your energy.
When you’re surrounded by colour, texture and beauty, you feel it: motivation, joy, creativity. But in a sea of white, grey, and beige? That spark can fade fast.
✨ Step outside — the sky, the sunsets, the layers of colour in nature... nothing is flat, nothing is purely white. So why should your home be?
It’s time to stop playing it safe. Your space should reflect you — your energy, your story, your uniqueness. Don’t follow trends. Be brave with colour. Mix textures. Blend tones. Let your heart lead.
You weren’t born to fit in. You were born to stand out. 💛
Let’s create a space that feels alive.

Develop stunning spaces by venturing beyond the ordinary. Explore diverse options and innovative solutions.
For this design, I selected a striking teal paint from Farrow & Ball, complemented by a light shade in the recess to accentuate the arch. The radiator's appearance and colour align perfectly with the mid-century and retro aesthetic outlined in the brief. Accessories feature gold and black tones. Solid wood flooring, laid in a chevron pattern, and grey-painted skirting boards were meticulously chosen.
Every element underwent thorough planning and design. Hence, it's crucial to plan meticulously, organise, create mood boards, followed by sample boards, and revise until all elements align seamlessly. A cohesive flow and colour scheme throughout the property require consideration of adjacent rooms. For bespoke design solutions, feel free to contact me.

Take inspirations from nature to transform your home to extraordinary effect. Follow the rule of 60/30/10 - main colour 60% this can be your walls and ceiling, complimentary or contrasting colour of 30% your floor and/ or furniture and 10% splashes of colour. Notice that the photo here is not 60% white so be adventurous, push the boundaries and bring colour into your house.
