Customer came to us with a description of what they wanted,
Jarrah and something else to compliment the red of jarrah
No juice groves
Checker board design
Thicker than our normal end grain boards
This here is what we came up with using red beech to complement the jarrah
This large board is 500mm by 350mm and 60mm thick
Do you have a timber in mind to use for your next project?
We would love to help bring your ideas to life

From conception through to completion
This shuffleboard is a recent project
Being an American game we decided that it would be fitting to use American Timbers
Outside frame and legs are made from American white ash with a dark walnut stain and matte finish and the playing surface is made using American hard maple with black walnut accents finished in a clear gloss

Recently completed this little tv stand for a spare room
Special requests from the customer were
Slight curves on top
Tapered legs
Colour matched to other pieces
As little grain variation as possible
We managed to find some short off cuts of pacific rimu for this job and used a tinted hardwax oil to finish it off
All edges have a small round to soften them

This lovely barstool was made using leftovers from a bench top that was made,
This is rimu that was cut and milled by the customers father many moons ago and unfortunately never got round to using it,
Now the customer has something to use rather than just a pile of wood in the back shed
Do you have dad’s old pile of wood not knowing what to do with it?
Get in touch with us and we can help turn it into something new

From design concept drawing to installation
This project started with a conversion about wanting a feature wall that incorporated acoustic panels the tv mounted on the wall and some sort of cabinet underneath to hold the soundbar,
After a few designs this is what we came up with
Panels don’t go all the way to the ceiling as at this height they match the height of all the windows
Cables were hidden inside the wall for the tv
The cabinet was made from 25mm thick black wood grain melamine with clear oak edging and custom handles on Blum metal box drawers
We chose the 25mm board just because it adds to the custom made aspect
A big thanks goes out to these customers for putting their trust in me to do the whole job
